Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz, mother Shamim Begum and other party leaders including Hamza Shahbaz and Talal Chaudhry met Nawaz Sharif at the jail.
Talal Chaudhry said all political forces are united at the moment to safeguard Pakistan. It has already won the military battle and it is now time to conquer on the diplomatic front, he added.
"Pakistan is not a weak nation. The army and the masses have faith in Allah and are prepared to embrace martyrdom for the sake of their nation. Those who will try to attack our country will regret," Talal said while quoting Nawaz as having said. Talal urged the nation, specifically the youth, to stand in support of the Pakistan Army for the defence of the country. Moreover, the PML-N workers gathered outside Kot Lakhpat Jail and chanted slogans in favor of Pakistan Army on arrival of the party leaders.
